6 Week Introduction to Ice Hockey Program

If you’re interested in learning to play ice hockey, the 6 Week Introduction to Ice Hockey Class at the Icehouse is the perfect program for you.

Over six weeks, our experienced coaches will teach you the fundamental skills, game strategies and rules of ice hockey.

Youth and Adult Ice Hockey programs are available for $130.00 per six-week program. All sessions are run by a qualified coach, who will take you through an hour of skills training each week.

Rental Ice Hockey equipment is included in the cost of the program.

The only pre-requisite for the program is a basic knowledge of how to ice skate. Our Aussie Skate for Kids Program and Adult Learn-to-Skate Program can give you the skating skill you need to get started.  Alternatively, our 12 Week Introduction to Ice Hockey Program can get you into ice hockey straight away – even if you’ve never skated before!

Once you’ve got your skating skills under control, the 6 Week Introduction to Ice Hockey Program is a great opportunity to try something fun and action-packed.

Programs Refund Policy

A full or partial refund will be issued if:

1. The Icehouse is unable to provide the program that the participant originally paid for due to lack of demand, technical issues or rescheduling.
2. Severe injury or illness prevents the participant from beginning or completing the full program.

Full or partial credit will be issued if:

1. Minor injury or illness prevents the participant from beginning or completing the full program.
2. The participant is not suited for the particular program they’ve registered for, and is moved to another program. In this case, the credit from the original program will be used to fund the new program.

Refund or credit will not be issued in cases in which:

1. The participant is not interested in completing the program.
2. The participant’s availability changes, and they are unable to complete the program.
3. The participant engages in abusive, immoral or disruptive behavior towards Icehouse staff or visitors, and is dismissed from the venue.
