Skating lessons are a great way to learn the basics or develop more advanced skills out on the ice.

Lessons are available at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Beginner lessons are suitable for all ages and abilities, from tots to seniors, while intermediate and advanced lessons cater to those with more ice skating experience.

General ‘Aussie Skate’ adult and youth lessons are given in groups, or private lessons can be booked. All lessons are given by fully qualified instructors.

The lesson consists of one half hour lesson, and one half hour of practice ice.

Skate School, in conjunction with Victoria’s leading clubs, also run sports programs training students in ice hockey, speed skating, figure skating and curling. The programs have been developed for all age groups and experience levels, and are the perfect way to improve in your chosen ice sport.

Programs Refund Policy

A full or partial refund will be issued if:

1. The Icehouse is unable to provide the program that the participant originally paid for due to lack of demand, technical issues or rescheduling.

2. Severe injury or illness prevents the participant from beginning or completing the full program.

Full or partial credit will be issued if:

1. Minor injury or illness prevents the participant from beginning or completing the full program.

2. The participant is not suited for the particular program they’ve registered for, and is moved to another program. In this case, the credit from    the original program will be used to fund the new program.

Refund or credit will not be issued in cases in which:

1. The participant is not interested in completing the program.

2. The participant’s availability changes, and they are unable to complete the program.

3. The participant engages in abusive, immoral or disruptive behavior towards Icehouse staff or visitors, and is dismissed from the venue.
