The Icehouse is an exciting new world-class ice sports and entertainment venue conveniently located in Melbourne’s Waterfront City, Docklands.
Disability Access
The Icehouse has been built to accommodate disabled guests, and the following features are incorporated throughout the building:
- Ramps and automatic doors at the main entrance to the building
- A low ticket sales counter for transactions with those in wheelchairs
- Ramps throughout the ground level public areas and dressing rooms
- Disabled access toilet facilities at each rink, in the change rooms and on each building level
- A lift for access to the St Moritz bar, function rooms and office levels
- Six front row, rink side, dedicated seating positions in the grandstand for wheelchair visitors, and seats for accompanying partners or carers
- A hearing augmentation loop to 150 seats for hearing impaired visitors
