The St Moritz Bar on Level 1 is Now Open!

The St Moritz bar is the perfect place to relax with friends after having fun on the ice. With great views of both rinks, you can sit back with a drink and watch the spectacle unfold below you.

St Moritz holds 100 people, and serves quality wine, beers and basic spirits to all patrons over the age of 18. Alcohol is only to be consumed within the bar.

Antipasto-like food is available if you feel like refuelling with a snack after a long ice skate.

Whether you’re looking to cap off a social ice session with a well-deserved cocktail, enjoy a post-game drink, or just watch your friends and family skate in comfort, the St Moritz is the perfect place for you.

The St Moritz operates six days a week (closed Sundays) from 5:30pm until late. The bar will also be open during ice hockey games and exclusively upon request for special events bookings.

In the interests of safety, patrons will not be allowed back on the ice after consuming alcohol.

 

St Moritz History

The St Moritz Bar pays tribute Melbourne’s most famous ice skating rink, St Moritz, which operated from 1939 to 1980 in St Kilda.

The St Moritz accommodated more than 2000 people, had more than 1850 square meters of ice and was enormously popular during the war years.
