General skating is divided into ‘sessions’, which take place at set, advertised times. These general skating sessions are available throughout the week for skaters of all ages and abilities.

Remember, it is important to arrive just before the start of the session to pick up your ticket and ice skates and ensure you get maximum time on the ice.

The Icehouse also features special general skating sessions including, ice dancing, music-video nights and discos across the weekends. During school holidays, the Icehouse hosts special events for students of all ages.

Skate hire is an additional $4.

For those who would like to come and watch friends and family skate but aren’t keen to get onto the ice themselves, a spectator-only ticket is available for $3 during off-peak times.

*Off-peak refers to sessions that take place between 10am and 2:15pm Monday-Friday excepting school holidays. Sessions outside of these hours are considered peak times.
