Short track speed skating is an Olympic sport combining strength, fitness, strategy and fearlessness to produce athletes who push themselves to the extreme as they race toward the line.
Short track speed skating is just one of the exciting sports on offer at Medibank Icehouse, so why not come down and give it a go? You could be the next Steven Bradbury.
Races, held on a 111 metre track, pit four to eight skaters against each other over distances of 500 to 3000 metres. Relay races test four-person teams over a 5000 metre run.
